Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data tent3d.com processes, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and similar laws.

2. What we process and why

Requests for offers

Name, company, phone, e-mail, country, city, message and your tent design. Purpose: to handle your request and to pass it to partner manufacturers so they can send you offers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps at your request; your consent where required).

"E-mail me this design"

Your e-mail address (and name, if given) and the design. Purpose: to send you the link and the PDF estimate and, once, to follow up on it (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Contact and partner messages

The data you enter. Purpose: to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Marketing (optional)

Only if you tick the box: news and offers by e-mail (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Saved designs

Designs are stored with a random link. The edit key stays in your browser (local storage) so that only you can change your design.

Statistics without cookies

We count page views and planner steps without cookies and without storing IP addresses: a visitor is represented by a hash that changes every day, together with the country derived from the IP address. Purpose: to improve the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technical data

Our server processes IP addresses and technical data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use the IP address to suggest a language and currency; it is not stored for that purpose.

Cookies and local storage

Only functional ones: language choice (t3d_lang), country for currency and transport defaults (t3d_cc), currency choice (t3d_cur), the edit keys of your designs, and a note that the save prompt was shown. No advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Recipients

  • Partner manufacturers, when you request offers or ask us to pass on your project.
  • Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (servers in the EU).
  • E-mail delivery: Resend (transactional e-mails; may involve processing in the USA under standard contractual clauses).
  • Internal notifications: our sales team receives new requests through Telegram Messenger.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Requests and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for statutory retention periods; marketing data until you withdraw consent; statistics in anonymised or daily-hashed form.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Under the KVKK you have the rights listed in its Article 11. Write to —.
