Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of tent3d.com and its 3D planner, calculators and request forms.

1. Who we are

tent3d.com is operated by tent3d ("tent3d", "we"). Contact details are in the imprint.

2. What tent3d is

tent3d is an online planning tool. It lets you design tent structures in 3D, calculate planning figures and indicative prices, and pass your project to partner manufacturers so that they can send you offers. tent3d does not manufacture, sell or install tents.

3. Prices are non-binding estimates

  • All prices, price ranges and calculations shown on tent3d, in e-mails and in PDF documents are non-binding estimates for planning purposes only.
  • They are not offers within the meaning of contract law and do not create a contract, a reservation or any other obligation for you, for tent3d or for any manufacturer.
  • Prices, specifications, availability and lead times can change at any time without notice, including after you have received an estimate.
  • A binding price is given only in a written offer from a manufacturer after the project has been checked (site, loads, permits, specification). A contract is concluded only between you and the manufacturer, on the manufacturer's terms.
  • Until such a written offer has been accepted, neither tent3d nor the manufacturer is obliged to supply at the estimated price.

4. Planning figures, 3D views and calculators

3D views are illustrations. Calculators (floor area, capacity, sizes, costs) use simplified planning values. They are no substitute for structural design, legal or professional advice. Structural safety (snow, wind, anchoring), permits and compliance with local rules are confirmed by the manufacturer and the competent authorities.

5. Requests for offers

When you request offers, you agree that we pass your project and contact details to suitable partner manufacturers. Manufacturers are independent companies; they are responsible for their offers, products and services.

6. Your use of the site

Use the site lawfully and only for genuine enquiries. Do not misuse forms, overload the service or copy content or the catalogue systematically.

7. Intellectual property

The site, the planner, texts, images and the software belong to tent3d or its licensors. Designs you create may be saved and shared via their links.

8. Liability

tent3d provides the site and its tools without warranty of accuracy or availability. To the extent permitted by law, tent3d is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of estimates or planning figures. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the version published here applies. The law of the operator's country of establishment applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
